Description The mondrean video processor is the ideal solution for complex, realtime digital video and digital signal processing in demanding industrial, medical and scientific applications. The revolutionary architecture is user configurable (parallel, pipeline or combination) optimized for the processing of large data streams offering a scalable processing power that can be matched to the application. The mondrean video processor base board integrates a triple channel AD converter (24 bit), a triple channel DA converter (24 bit) with upto three Analog Devices Inc. ADSP 2106x DSP processors on the base board. The mondrean video processor base board can be expanded into a multi processor signal processing architecture with up to 42 ADSP 2106x DSP processors. The mondrean video processor has an optimized architecture for parallel signal processing based on parallel data processing paths, separated adress/data busses on the base board and fast accessible memories for temporary data storage. The mondrean video processor base board is a one slot size PCI card, equiped with a high speed PCI 2.1 bus interface for host communication. Six serial communication ports are avaiable on board for additional external data acquisition. The mondrean video processor base board is equiped with expansion board connectors for an application specific analog front end and/or analog back end. With this expansion connectors, almost all thinkable kind of data acquisition and data output can be realized.
