OpticLink Digital Video and Fiber Optics Interface
| Opticlink products are designed to transmit digital video and camera control signals over fiber optic cables. The Opticlink product support transmission of the following digital camera sources: LVDS, RS-422, CameraLink and 1394 Firewire. Opticlink offers a transparant channel for digital video and can be used with all brand of cameras and framegrabbers. The opticlink system consists of two units, one which converts the camera's signal to fiber optic and a second which converts the signal back to digital video. Most models are available in multimode fiber (which allows data transmission up to 400 meters) and singlemode fiber (data transmission up to 40 kilometers). |
